About the project
Aims
The development of online technologies, cloud systems and IoT brings to the fore new opportunities to collect data, but the development of skills and abilities to process, evaluate and understand them effectively is often absent. This is also the case of one of the critical environmental areas, which is air quality. The aim is to strengthen the skills and knowledge base of students and teachers of HEIs to work with big data for air quality to investigate its impact on the population health.
Realisation
Universities will involve students to summarize available and new knowledge on air quality (big data), identify the environmental, economic and social consequences and health risks of air pollution based on collected data, and prepare proposals and concepts to improve air quality. They will develop a model for simplified data presentation and interpretation. The consortium will develop digital competences and know-how on the use of innovative tools and their connection to environmental issues.
